RealCam is used to record video and audio at auto dealerships during F&I transactions. It is both a training and a compliance tool.
The RealCam software is currently at version 3.
First-Time Use
Upon started RealCam for the first time, you’ll be expected to enter your Dealership Key:
Enter your Dealership Key and click “Verify”. You’ll be presented with a list of authorized users from your dealership, and you should see your name:
Select your name from the list and click the “Save” button in the lower right-hand portion of the screen.
Going forward, upon starting RealCam, you should see a screen that looks like this:
When you’re ready to record a transaction, enter the customer name and stock number and then press the “Record” button. This will minimize RealCam and the recording will start.
While a recording is being made, you should see the RealCam icon in your Windows 10 taskbar:
At any time, you can click on this icon to reveal the recording in progress:
Clicking on the red “Stop” button will finish the recording, after which it should automatically be uploaded to our cloud server environment.
After completing a recording, you’ll be returned to the start screen, ready to record your next F&I transaction.
